Raspberry Pi 4 announced, quad Cortex-A72 cores, LPDDR4 ram; pocket desktop starts at $35
Recently Raspberry Pi Foundation unveils their next generation single board computer,the Raspberry Pi 4 which is considerably more powerful than its predecessor 'Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+' and it comes with a same starting $35 price.

As per specification goes the raspberry pi 4 comes with a Broadcom’s BCM2711 chipset which is a 28nm SoC with a quad Cortex-A72 clocked at 1.5GHz which is notably a huge upgrade over its predecessor. The company stated that we can expect a 3x performance boost over the old chipset .In terms of GPU its a VideoCore VI GPU clocked at 500Mhz which can handle 4K/60fps HEVC video playback and can support dual-monitor setups at up to 4K resolution using the two micro HDM ports. We also see a Memory upgrade from LPDDR2 to LPDDR4 with the new model.

In terms of connectivity The Raspberry Pi 4 now offers two USB 3.0 ports as comapred to two USB 2.0 ports in old model , USB type C for power instead of microUSB, bluetooth 5 instead of Bluetooth 4.2, a full-throughput Gigabit Ethernet port and a Dual-band 802.11ac wireless networking
