Realme has now started teasing a brand new smartphone that it claims is the world's first to come with a 64MP camera. As of now 48 mp camera was one of the biggest smartphone trend of 2019,almost every company from budget to mid-range to flagship were sporting this sensor but looks like this goona be change soon .After the recent announcement of new 64mp GW1 sensor from samsung we could see many company's adopting this sensor on their phones .Recent reports have revealed that samsung and xiaomi is also working on a 64-megapixel phone.
Well today Realme India ceo Madhav Sheth has announced through a tweet that the company will be launching first smartphone with 64 MP samsung sensor GW1 with quad setup in India.He also posted a picture on Twitter that has been shot on this mysterious new Realme phone .
Now coming back to sensor ,64mp GW1 sensor is larger than 48MP sensors at 1/1.72 that has a big pixel size of 1.6micron. the sensor uses 4-in-1 pixel merging technology to merge four 0.8 micron pixels into a single 1.6-micron pixel that offers a bright 16mp lowlight images. so in theoretically we will be getting the same low-light performance as 48MP cameras although at a higher resolution.
No other information about mysterious realme phone has been shared by the company but a tipster @Sudhanshu1414 on twitter shared an image of what upcoming mysterious Realme phone's 64MP quad camera setup will look like .
